He's Crawling

Here's some video of Isaac crawling. I like the end best...is it wrong to think it's funny when your child wipes out?

Isaac's 9 months old!

If you're wondering why I haven't posted anything in a while it's because I'm chasing my little ones around! Ella's out of school, which has been a lot of fun and Isaac started crawling really good about a two weeks ago. He got his first tooth on Monday and turned 9 months old on Tuesday...it was a big week for our little guy!
I took them both to have professional pictures taken today, but wasn't crazy about them. So, I decided to set up a "studio" in our ploffice (playroom/office) and I thought these turned out pretty cute. Ella wasn't home, but I think I'll try getting some of the two of them next week.

An interesting combination

Q: What do you get when The Incredible Hulk and a Princess get married?

A:

For some reason, Ella was really wanting to do face painting the last day we were at the beach. During the car ride home, she kept asking us if she could do face painting when she got home. I have no idea why she was on this kick, but she was.

When we got home, Jason and I got busy unloading everything. She apparently took matters into her own hands decided to paint her face with some water colors that she found. The picture doesn't really show it, but she also painted her arms and her legs and feet. It's great to be a kid!

ALLERGIC TO THE SUN? COME ON, I LIVE IN FLORIDA!!!

Jason and Isaac
This post isn't meant to complain about Florida. Unlike my sister, who now lives in Santa Cruz, I love Florida and even though it gets blazing hot, I'd rather have it hot than cold and dreary (not that Santa Cruz is like that).
Anyway, it's been awhile since I've posted anything because we spent a week at the beach with Jason's side of the family. We had a wonderful time and the weather was beautiful pretty much the entire time. Unfortunately, I broke out with sun poisoning the first day I was in the sun. It's not like I was doing the sun worshipping thing either. I was wearing SPF 30 and after a few hours came back inside to discover my chest was covered in red, bug-bite looking bumps. It's really attractive and not to mention incredibly itchy.

I'd like to say that this is the first time this has happened to me, but no, this has been going on for the past five years. I finally got online, like any good wanna be doctor, and found out that I am ALLERGIC TO THE SUN.
Those of you who know me well, also know that I am allergic to shellfish as well. What a great combination for a Floridian...a sun allergy and a shellfish allergy. I am obviously not a native Floridian, but a transplant who apparently belongs where the sun don't shine :)!
